The history and heritage of Forgotten Valley Cheese started in our homeland, Switzerland. Billi Lehner came to Wisconsin and purchased the cheese factory with the intention of bringing “old world artisan cheese” to the United States. His vision was successful! In 1979 Billi partnered with his son Hans. 15 years later, Hans and Denise Lehner purchased the cheese factory from Billi.
